  1. Looks like Elite is the antonym of deplorable, xenophobic, racist, misogynist, homophobic, etc and justifiably so. The article was very confused. It presents a very good example of how the elite are tremendously corrupt in Imran Khan who while elitist will not criticize the Taliban. A good rule of thumb of how well the times are can be judged by the quality of the elite. And, today, there should be no doubt that the "elite" are tremendously corrupt and undermine human rights in the name of business. If the elites don't stand up for liberty then populism should grow as it is the only option left!

  2. The article on the jurispudence of arrest is extremely important and pertinent. This issue is vast and complex, with the lawyer mafia, the police, and the judges all obtaining a benefit at the cost of freedom of Indian citizens.

I have written extensively about it on my blog.
